The FIL Scoring API answers one question: how risky is this phone number or IP address? You send a subject, we return a 0–100 ranking against the scored population, a severity band, a recommended action, and the evidence behind all three. Evidence comes from fraud reports contributed by telecom operators (the consortium ledger) and from numbering-plan intelligence — which ranges exist, who operates them, and where fraud is accumulating. Scores are rankings, never probabilities. A score of 78 means “riskier than 78% of scored ranges”, and every response says so.
